Libertarian Oath:

YES, I certify that I do not believe in or advocate the initiation of force as a means of achieving political or social goals.

Jonas,

I have wanted to get this message to you. This, currently, is a pledge that one must sign onto in order to become a member of the Libertarian Party of the United States. I find it profound. Reformers rising up through the Party organization find the oath inconvenent. They believe the oath chases voters & candidates away, because it is so ablolute. Which is why the Libertarian Party has not made any serious inroads in politics during it's 35 years of existance. And they are right. But what other political entity can define itself in 1 sentance. And what other political entity's sentance as being non-violent.

Check out LP.org. I admit it is getting commercialized, but the nugget is still there.
