Ruling by fear exerts control in one portion of the populace yet inspires resistance in another. Most importantly, those that rule by fear shall find themselves subject to fear and its inherent restriction. That in turn creates an authoritative attack on creativity. Creativity equals growth and once growth is attacked on a societal level; the breeding grounds for malaise, putrefaction and death are fertile. A great philosopher once said restriction is sin; therefore those who promote fear are the greatest of sinners. Jonas Holmes III
